The 2008 Georgia Oldenburg Verband inspection will take place on June 22, 2008, at Shannondale Farm in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Pre-enrollment is required, with entries closing on June 1, 2008. Late entries will be accepted only if time and space permit (late fee will apply). We encourage you to register early - limited stabling may cause alternate nearby location.
You can find a link to the entry forms at the bottom of this page.
Important Notices:
* Stallions will NOT be inspected at this site this year
* We will also inspect riding type ponies for inspection into the Weser-Ems (Oldenburg) Sport Pony registry. Ponies accepted for inspection must be of appropriate sport pony type - examples are German Riding Ponies, Section A and B Welsh Ponies, New Forest Ponies, etc.
* We will be using the covered arena again this year. Stabling is mandatory. Per stall fee of $45.00 (per day) includes two bags of shavings w/additional shavings available at $6.50 per bag (we recommend at least three bags for mares and foals stabling overnight). We will also offer braiding and professional handling services for a nominal fee.
* At the inspection, you will be required to present ORIGINAL registration papers w/official pedigree and one photocopy (for mares to be inspected), and ORIGINAL Oldenburg Horse Breeders' Society Breeding Certificates signed by the stallion owner and inseminating veterinarian (for foals). Not having the correct paperwork at the inspection will result in additional fees. Mare papers will be stamped and signed by the inspectors and returned to you at the site. Mares without proper registration papers from a qualified registry will be considered for lower mare books, but are not encouraged.
* Dogs are NOT ALLOWED on the premises.
